Distribution Assistance

Registering guests, handling intake, providing service information, and prayer to incoming guests throughout the day.
Be a welcoming face at the front office by triaging incoming clients and visitors throughout the day.
Support the Food Pantry Manager by helping to organize incoming donations and assist clients with shopping for food items.

Beverage/ Pastry Assistance

Support the Kitchen Manager by assisting with the preparation of lunches.
Support the Kitchen Manager by washing dishes. Some dishes are washed by hand while others are placed in the dishwasher. Lunch is served daily at 11:45 a.m., serving approximately 150 guests.
Make and serve coffee, as well as drinks, pastries, and smiles.

Set up, and serve drinks. Make and serve coffee for the mid-day meal.
Assist the Basic Needs Manager by organizing donations and distributing item guests are in need of.
Assist the Director of Homeless Services with intake of new guests or triaging requests of those in need.

Serve the midday meal each day to our guests. Volunteers in this area should be friendly when interacting with each client. Lunch is served daily at 11:45 am- 1:00pm to approximately 150 guests.

A green thumb is not necessary to help care for, plant, and harvest our tower gardens, which provide fresh produce for meals.

Hours are flexible, let us know your availability.

Meet people where they are, from refilling drinks to sitting with them and hearing their life story.

Individuals and groups can volunteer in several different capacities throughout the year. volunteer opportunities are matched according to your interests and availability, as indicated in your online application. You may volunteer as many or as few times a year as you would like.
